  4. To install, click the Install button.
  5. The "wizard" walks you quickly through the configuration process. When prompted, click Browse and find the Windows NT Workstation CD on your system. The installer will do the rest.
  6. Restart your computer when prompted.

How do I connect to CRU RAS?

  1. Double-click on the My Computer icon on your desktop.
  2. Double-click on the DialUp Network icon.
  3. Find the configuration you want (use the down arrow to the right of the name field to display all of the configurations your workstation has) and highlight.
  4. Click the Dial button.
  5. A user/password dialog box is displayed. Make sure the userid and password are correct and click the Connect button.
  6. The modem dials and connects.
  7. Once connected, a dialog appears indicating that your ID and password are being verified. If successful, your connection time will begin counting the seconds.
  8. The Dial-Up Networking monitor appears minimized in the lower right of the desktop task bar. When the connection is complete, a dialog box appears, click OK to continue.

The newer versions of Netscape (version 3.x or higher), Eudora (version 3.x or higher), and Internet Explorer can be set up to automatically use a dialup connection instead of using this process. Check your settings, options, or configurations to see if this can be accomplished.
