The CAHNRS
WAN (Wide Area Network) Project is an ongoing effort to connect
Extension sites - County Extension Offices, Learning Centers and
Research Centers - to the internet. This service provides 24 X 7
access allowing quick and reliable access to email, web resources
and shared files across the network.
Most offices
currently participating in this project are connected by way of
T1, Cable and/or DSL circuits. Many other sites are connected via
their County network system. Please see the map and table links
below for a list of sites currently participating in the CAHNRS
WAN Project. There is also a list of Extension sites around the
state that provides basic information on how each site is connecting
to the internet.
